Data Deletion Instructions

Lunyb is operated by MYTRACKHOLDING LLC. This page explains how you can permanently delete your Lunyb account and every piece of personal data we hold about you, regardless of how you signed up (web, iOS app, Android app, or via a Facebook / Instagram conversation with our customer-support assistant).

You have this right under the EU/UK GDPR (Art. 17 — right to erasure), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA — right to delete), and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. We honour every request, free of charge, within 30 days.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the Lunyb app (recommended)

  1. Open Lunyb on your iPhone or Android device.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete my account.
  4. Confirm. The deletion runs immediately with a 30-day undo window.
  5. After 30 days, every row tied to your user_id is purged permanently across our protection tables and encrypted backups are rotated within 35 days.

Option 2 — Email us (works for everyone, including users who reached us through Facebook or Instagram)

Send an email from the address registered on your Lunyb account to privacy@lunyb.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”.

In the body, include:

We confirm the request within 48 business hours and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may ask one verification question to make sure the request is genuine and not an impersonation attempt.

What gets deleted

What we may legally have to keep

A small amount of data may be retained for the strict period required by law (typically 6 to 7 years for accounting and tax records under U.S. and EU rules, or shorter periods to defend against fraud disputes). This data is kept in isolated systems with restricted access and is purged as soon as the legal retention period ends.

Deletion of data tied to a Facebook or Instagram conversation

If you contacted Lunyb only through a direct message on our Facebook Page or Instagram business account, you can still request deletion using Option 2 above. In your email please include the username or display name you use on the platform, so we can locate the conversation. We will erase the message history and any internal moderation logs we kept for it. You can also permanently delete the conversation on your side from the Messenger or Instagram app.

Confirmation

When deletion is complete you will receive a confirmation email at the address that was on file. If you don't hear back from us within 30 days, please email privacy@lunyb.com again — we monitor that inbox daily.
